In a recent interview, he indicated towards reviving the long delayed project Marudhanayagam.

Before SS Rajamouli made the world take notice of Indian cinema with Baahubali franchise, Kamal Haasan attempted a similar project right after the success of Indian [also released as Hindustani] in 1996. The project was set to be India’s costliest film at that time, which would be released in English, French, Tamil and Hindi.
