Plot
Venu and Murali are close pals striving to get a place in the movie industry. Venu wants to become a writer cum director, and Murali longs to become a music composer. They search for opportunities in the Malayalam industry. Then relocate to Madras' Kodambakkam, which was a dream place to enter for every movie enthusiast. What are the hardships they experience, and how do they finally win the struggle from the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Pranav and Dhyan excel in their roles. Dhyan's comedy works out well and impresses the audience. Kalyani is neat in her role.Â
AnalysisÂ
Vineeth Sreenivasan's narration had always been fine, and like his previous works, even this time, he didn't disappoint the audience. However, the emotional elements lack depth. Though the lead stars' roles are designed well, the rest of the characters are not developed well enough to create an impact. The story starts in the 60s and then follows the friendship between two aspirants. The hurdles they faced, the failures and success are shown beautifully. There are lots of guest appearances, but Nivin's entry gathers audience's attention. Some dialogues irks and create a setback in the flow. The BGM is neat. The visuals are decent, though not much impressive.Â

VerdictÂ
Varshangalkku Shesham didn't create the impact as expected. However, for the performances, the film can be watched once!Â
