As film-making and all about it is becoming an integral part of our gossip life let's look back to some of the child actors who shined in front of the camera and their present stature.
One of the renowned child actor who helps to promulgate Malayalam industry is Nazriya Nazim. This Malayalee Beauty is an exceptionally talented actress who has worked in many films across the Mollywood as well as Tollywood. Her debut film was the Mamooty-starrer socio-family movie “Palanku” where her character was easily relatable to the general audience. In her very first film itself she displayed immense acting potential and skills.
However, her showbiz career started as an anchor in the hit reality show Munch Star Singer Junior. Her beautiful and bubbly self was remembered by all. She also starred in an album called “Yuvvh” with
Nivin Pauly which went on to become a youth sensation. This literally launched her as a youth star.
She landed her first female lead role in a movie called “
Maad Dad” opposite Lal. Her career took a turning point when she starred opposite her “Yuvvh” co-star Nivin Pauly in a movie which was both critically acclaimed and equally received by the masses, called “
Neram”. Her pairing with Nivin was dually appreciated and her acting skills as well as charisma on screen was applauded.

Fahadh Faasil after a short romance post Bangalore Days. This beautiful Diva has surely undergone a marvellous transformation not just as a stunning lady but also as a gifted actress. We still remember her as a cute little girl on TV with her bubbly smile and cheerful personality.
She has been the diva of Malayalam film industry for at least a decade. Her beautiful face oozes the heroine vibe. She started her acting career very early. Her first film as a child actress released when she was just seven years old. Now, that's what you call a prodigy. Her debut film was “Pookalam Varavayi” and then she also played a significant role as a child actor in “Arazkiya Ravanan”.
Her most significant role was opposite Dileep in Chandranudikunna Dikhil (1999) which officially launched her as the star heroine of Malayalam film industry. After her blockbuster success in this movie she went on to 18 films with Dileep, most of which were superhits. This stunning south beauty not only mesmerized us with her household charm and charisma but also awed us with her exceptional acting abilities. She has also displayed her outstanding dancing abilities in many of her movies which of course was predictable as she was the “KalaThilakam”.
In 2004, She grabbed the Kerala State Award for the best actress for the stupendous performance in the film Perumazhakalam. She also received the same in her role in the film Gaddama which marked her career astral.
3. Shalini Ajith.
Shalini started her career as a child artist in Ente Mammattikuttiyammaku and she acted in all the films under the direction of Fazil. Her screen presence was officially felt in the hit romance drama “Aniyathipravu” opposite Kunchako Boban. She is often referred to as the innocent beauty of Mollywood cine club. Her pairing with Kunchako Boban in few movies in the early 2000's were a super hit.
Although she came into the real limelight in her teens, her screen presence was well appreciated in her movies as Baby Shalini. This name had quite become a house hold name. Married to another south superstar Ajith, Shalini Ajith now leads a happy and content family life with her kid.
4. Jishnu Raghavan.
Jishnu Raghavan Alingkil, also known as Jishnu, was a renowned Indian film actor who expressed his talents in Malayalam Films Being the son of veteran actor Raghavan, his movie Kilippatt was chosen for the Indian Panorama. He was graduated as a mechanical engineer from NIT Calicut.
His smiling face always projects happiness. His role in hit movie “Nammal” is what notified him as a gifted actor. Unfortunately, Malayalam cinema lost this wonderful actor to Cancer. His Facebook posts and messages during his last days were truly inspiring and wonderful.
