. Nazriya returns to acting after four years.
Plot
Manuel moves to a house with his mother in a close-knit neighbourhood. His mother goes missing a couple of times due to her Alzheimer’s. But, Priyadarshini is doubtful about Manuel, and she wonders if his mother is trying to escape from him. With the help of her neighbours, she tries to find out Manuel’s intentions and what he has done to his mother. At the same time, Manuel plans to hide something with his uncle and cousin. Whose plan worked out? Was Priyadarshini right? The rest of the film showcases what is happening in the neighbourhood.
Star Performance
Nazriya is impressive with her performance as nosy Priyadarshini. Basil is good in his role as Manuel. Both these stars always impress us with their choice of roles, and this time, too, they tie us with their natural performances. Sidharth Bharathan’s performance is worth mentioning. His comedy performance brings a good aura to his character. The rest of the stars have done what was required of them.
Analysis
The writers have penned the screenplay well. However, we can’t stop raising the question about Priyadarshini’s nosy character. Why does she poke too much? They could’ve come up with an explanation of her character. Other than that, the film has brought energetic performances, perfect writing and neat execution. The music can be said to be the soul of the film. The BGM elevates each scene, and it is breezy, too. The makers should be appreciated for bringing in the charming Nazriya, who pulls the audience into the story and makes us travel with her. Sharan’s visuals are pretty decent, and Chaman’s editing is crispier.
