Manu Manjith

Manu Manjith who was born in the year 1986 on 23rd of January in Atholi, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He is currently 31 years of age. He is married to Hima Hemaraj. He is currently living in Kazhikode in Calicut, India. After completing his high school from St. Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School which is situated in Calicut, he did a course of Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Government Homeopathic Medical College which is situated in Calicut. He is a poet and lyricist in the Malayalam Cinema. He was passionate about writing since his childhood and has taken part in many writing competitions in his school and college days.

His debut film’s name was Ohm Shanthi Ohshaana which is a Malayalam film directed by Jude Anthany Joseph Jude is a famous Malayalam film director who was b >> Read More... and was released in the year 2014. He is also a Homeopathy doctor. After his debut, he got a chance to write in five more Malayalam films. He has also worked in many Short films and albums in the Malayalam Industry. He has written songs for the movies like Vikramadithyan which was released in the year 2014, Ormayundo Ee Mukham in 2014 as well, Aadu in 2015, Oru Vadakkan Selfi in 2015, and much more. Homeopathy is his profession, and he also works as a lyricist in the Malayalam film Industry and has given many hit songs in the five movies he has done so far.

He has been influenced by Gireesh Puthencherry. He was not so passionate about cinema in his early days and used to write poems only. He enjoys playing with the style of compositions and words too. According to him, Gireesh Puthencherry is a word player, and he has been influenced by him only. Gradually, in the year 2012, he started writing songs and formed a circle of friends and launched an album named Immini Ballya Kozhikode. He has also written some devotional songs before coming into the film Industry.

According to him, one can write the best lyrics only when he/she understands the concept of the film. It’s a challenge for the writers to understand what exactly the makes of the film want. But when you understand that what is needed, then it is easy for you to work. One must be creative and should do justice to each and every song. He enjoys working as a Homeopathy doctor and also loves traveling, but he didn’t get much time to travel as he can’t leave his clinic closed.
