Sreevalsan J. Menon is a music composer and Carnatic vocalist. He was born in Trichur, Kerela. Sreevalson is an A Grade artist at All India Radio. He has performed at many concerts including National concerts of AIR and as well as on Doordarshan. He has also done concerts in United States, United Kingdom and Middle- East. He learned and got trained from Rajalakshmi Krishnan and T. V. Ramani. Sreevalson has released many albums and composed music for some movies.

As a music director, his works include, T.D. Dasan Std. VI B, Saint Dracula 3D, and My Mother's Laptop. His released albums are Vismaya - Emotional Expressions, Sree Guruvayurappan Gananjali: Vol - 3, Irayimman Thampi Kritis, Swami Ayyappan, Classical Encounters, Krishna - A Musical Reflection and some more. Menon's work are very innovative.

His best work was in Vismaya - Emotional Expressions, which he sung with Bibi Panicker and Urmila Varma. Menon's jugalbandi's are also famous among musicians Kalamandalam Sankaran Embranthiri, Ramesh Narayan, and Kalamandalam Hyderali. Currently, he is a professor at Kerela Agriculture University and completing his Ph.D. in Agriculture extension from Delhi's IARI. He is residing in Thrippunithura and is a native of Kunissery.

Rajamani is a late music director who had been associated with music in every form right from his childhood. Music had run in his generation, and his father and grandfather too were renowned musicians in Malayalam industry. Not many know he is associated with over 700 movies in providing background score and has recorded in more than ten language movies.  As we all know music has no language barrier, this musician’s father was really instrumental in shaping his son’s career many times. Also, this music composer hails from a reputed musician family who are experts in Carnatic instruments. His father B.A. Chidambarnanthan was a reputed mridangam player and Carnatic vocal artist who has scored music independently in more than 30 Malayalam movies.  Although Rajamani could not disassociate from Carnatic music, he also had learned Hindustani and Western music. Later, he had played music for a music group and even worked in a private job in West Asia.  Rajamani kickstarted his career in the musical world with a devotional album named ‘Gangayar Pirakkunnu’ was struck the right chords with the music lovers. Later in his youth days, he had learned to play table and guitar. After becoming a successful guitar player, his father noted his talent and took him to music composer Devarajan. His first role in background score was in G. Devarajan's musical score for a movie named ‘Itha Ivide Vare' in 1977.  Rajamani’s another successful musical chapter with background score was when he received a half-day call sheet from late R.D. Burman, who was in Chennai then to record a song. Rajamani made use of the vibraphone for the re-recording, and it became a hit so much so that he became one of the best musicians. Rajamnani’s first Guru was music composer Devarajan and his second guru was music composer Johnson who was also assistant to music composer Devarajan. It was Johnson who introduced Rajamani to the filmy musical world and Rajamani got his first debut as independent music composer for Tamil film ‘Gramathu Kiligal’ (1983), and later he endeavored in the Malayalam film industry after getting his first chance for a movie named ‘Nullinovikkaathe’(1985).   Rajamani composed music for 70 movies so far.  Some of his best compositions include K.J. Yesudas’s song track such as "Eeran Meghangal" and "Thaalangal Maarunnu" from movie 'Nullinovikkaathe' and "Maanasavenuvil",  a track song sung by K.S. Chithra from movie 'Jeevitham Oru Raagam' and even the melodious song track 'Manjukoottikal' sung by Sreekumar for movie ‘Welcome to Kodaikanal'.    Rajamani had passed away following a cardiac arrest when he was just 60. He passed away in Chennai. His final film recording was for ‘Hide N Seek’. His son Achu Rajamani is also in the music field as a music composer. His super hit film albums are "Ekalavyan”, “The King”, “Commissioner” etc.


Gopi Sundar

The precious icon of the Indian music industry, Gopi Sundar has composed his soulful music for more than fifty movies to date. In 2014, he composed the songs & background score for the Malayalam movie "1983" and was awarded the National Award.the movie got a good critic rating of 3.5 out of 5.abrid shine, the debut director of the movie was awarded the Kerala State Awards in the category of the best debut director. Alongside the film bagged two more awards for the category of best & second best actor in the same award ceremony of 2014. He was born in Kochi & opted for joining the music industry for his career. Gopi has a good knowledge of instruments like Tabla & keyboard & has worked as a keyboard programmer in some of Bollywood hit films. Personal Life Almost all the members of his family are linked with the Film Industry. Gopi’s father was a businessman in the field of recording studio and theater. His uncle came out to be a successful actor. the legendary Malayalam film director Ramu Kariya is also a part of his family. In 1965, Ramu directed Chemmeen that led him to bag the national award. He passed away at the age of 52. Gopi tied the knot with Priya in 2001. He is the father of two sons Yadhan & Madhav. Career Apart from composing & writing songs, Gopi has sung many songs for the Malayalam Movies.for his background score in the movie “Ustad Hotel” he became popular as one of the greatest composers in the music industry. The debut film for Deepika Padukone, “Om Shanti Om” gave him the musical platform to program the keyboard for the song “Aakhon Mein Teri”. The song was sung by the sensational singer of Bollywood, Krishnakumar Kunnat( KK). The lead roles were cast with the king of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan & Deepika Padukone, daughter of famous tennis player Prakash Padukone. Awards From 2011, awards started roaming in his hands. Categories like best music director & background score never got away without his nominations. In 2015, the SIIMA & Filmfare awards were bagged for his name.
