Ramante Edanthottam is the family drama scripted and directed by Ranjith Sankar. Besides directing the film, Ranjith Sankar has produced it on a large scale under his banner Dreams N Beyond. The film stars Kunchacko Boban, Anu Sithara, Aju Varghese, Muthumani, Ramesh Pisharody, Joju George and Sreejith Ravi in the main cast. The film has the music of Bijibal. Madhu Neelakantan is the DOP.

Ram owns a resort near the woods. He loves the nature and enjoys living near the woods. Malini, a beautiful girl visits his resort and stay for a four-day vacation. Ram falls in love with Malini. Malini just wants to spend her vacation in the resort but has different ideas about her future. Ram’s life changes after falling in love with Malini. Did Ram marry Malini and settles in his resort or did she take him with her to the city? The answer to these question forms the crux of the story.

Star Performance

Kunchacko Boban is always perfect in emoting. He knows how to react for each and every situation and does it perfectly. Anu Sithara has played a brilliant role and we can witness her in a performance oriented role for the very first time. Joju George has done justice to his role. When will these kinds of good actors receive recognition?

Ranjith Sankar, the director of the film has tried his best in romance and it has worked out well for him. We should appreciate Ranjith for designing the characters well. Special appreciation to Ranjith for shaping up Anu Sithara’s role and bringing the best from her!

What’s There?

  • The performance of the lead stars is the big plus to the film
  • Anu Sithara’s characterization by Ranjith is superb
  • Madhu Neelakantan’s visuals make us travel through the fresh and green woods and we just say “Wow!”
  • Bijibal’s songs impresses and the BGM too

What’s Not There?

  • We could not pinpoint any flaws in particular

The positive Kunchacko and the strong Anu Sithara make us enjoy the film throughout. Ramesh Pisharody’s comical timing would impress his fans. If you want to watch a romantic film along with the nature, then Ramante Edanthottam is the best choice!
