Plot
Ajesh is a middleman in the wedding business. When the bride’s family is unable to get the required gold they promised, he gives them the gold needed and gets back cash for the gold from the gift money the bride receives on the wedding day. Steffi Graff’s marriage is fixed to Mariano. 25-sovereign gold is promised to be given to the bride. Steffi’s brother gets Ajesh’s help in this and he gives them the gold. However, the bride’s family was unable to provide him with the money for the gold they had taken from Ajesh. Now, Ajesh has to get back his gold, which Steffi has taken with her to her husband’s place, Thalavettichira. The area is famous for its rough residents, and Mariano is a rugged guy. How will Ajesh get back his gold or money? The rest of the film speaks about his attempts to get his gold back.
Star Performance
Basil Joseph’s extraordinary performance is impressive. His realistic performance, dialogue, and expressions will make one travel with him throughout the movie. Lijomol has given her best. She fits well in the character and performs very naturally. Sajin Gopu, Deepak Parambol, and Anand Manmadhan excelled well in the given roles.
Analysis
The scriptwriters should be appreciated for their wonderful writing that showcases reality. The suspense and the twist are beautifully revealed, and the audience enjoys each and every scene in the film with full concentration. The success of the film is its writing, narration, and performance. Basil’s character is well-written, and his performance makes us that he should get his gold back. It is the success of a filmmaker when the audience feels for his characters. The dialogues are excellent and those by Ajesh are special, especially his final one to Steffi, which is impressive. The visuals, music, and the editing are good.
