In initial casting Aju Varghese was supposed to play Padmasoorya Govind's role... :)... and reverse! Sharafudheen's character was not there. .Then I decided to make it a gang of 3…Three is always company :) Many were considered for sharafs role. .but Priyalal I guess was written for him. .They became such good friends during the shoot. No bit of ego. .gave each other’s lines and complimented each other superbly! Special mention to Aju for using all his experience to make it work!
