Plot

Muthanna works hard but drinks the local alcohol and destroys all his hard earned money. Gowramma is Muthanna’s wife and she is popular for her nursing skills. Muthanna and Gowramma have a daughter Mallika, who is a bold girl. Although they are not wealthy, they live happily. One day, a fortune teller says that their life will be completely changed overnight. Channakeshava, a person visits Muthanna’s house and stays for some time. Mallika falls for him. At the same time, Muthanna’s house owner urges him to pay back his loan. Channakeshava decided to help them and opens his suitcase. What happened next? What is the secret in the suitcase?

Performances of the artists are good. Everyone has given out their natural acting talents.

Analysis

Dayal Padmanabhan had always made movies that deeply involve the livelihoods of the people. The language used in the film perfectly fits the rural subject. The technical and the production values are quite good. Casting department has done an excellent job.

Except for some minor flaws, nothing could be seriously viewed as a negative

Aa Karaala Ratri is an emotional suspense thriller that keeps the audiences engaged right from the first scene. The film has the neat performance of the stars with the well-executed screenplay. The film is definitely worth watching.
