Plot
Suresha, Satisha, and Meenakshi are cousins. They fight for the ancestral property. Their grandfather has been in a coma for nearly 2 decades. He was an ex-member of a smuggling gang. Sandhya loves Suresha. Kumar, a moneylender who has hearing issues, loves Sandhya. Gopalappa, a person from the black magicians’ family, earns money by misusing the villagers’ innocence. During a fight between Satisha and Suresha, their grandfather wakes up from a coma. After revealing a treasure in the forest, he dies. As all of them want money, they decide to go to the forest, unaware that Beera’s ghost resides there. Will Beera spare all these people? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Archana excels in her role. Gurunandan is seen in a fresh role, and he did his job well. Anish, Chikkanna, and Rangayana Raghu are good in their given roles. Sooraj is impressive in the role of Beera. His presence brings horror vibes and he presents the character so lively.
Analysis
The story is simple, like any other horror-comedy story. It is the screenplay and performances that made it more interesting. The characters are written with enough comical touch. The stars also add depth to the undertaken characters with their natural performances. Though the story is familiar, the director’s fresh approach makes it engaging. The second half is more engaging than the first half. Though the first half is good, some find it silly; it depends upon one’s perspective. The visuals are fantastic, and the lighting in the forest scenes is perfectly made to make the visuals clear yet dark. The BGM is spooky in the needed places. The makers have ended the film with a hint of a sequel.

This spooky-comedy film is different from the previous films of the same genre. It is definitely watch-worthy! Don’t head to the theatres expecting too much. You’ll enjoy it for sure!
