Plot
Chief Minister Rajashekara is expelled due to corruption charges. His nephews are power-hungry, and are gearing up to grab the chair. Anant Nambiar is his right hand, who wanted to stop this. Dhanush is Rajashekara’s son. After this expulsion, Dhanush is forced to return home and replace Rajasekhara in the government. But Dhanush was away from the public due to his character. He renames himself Devil and returns. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Achyuth Kumar is good in his role. Darshan appeared to impress his fans. Rachana is given a lengthy role. But she didn’t have anything significant to perform.
Analysis
The film didn’t have anything unique. But all the immoral things are normalized as if they are not wrong, right from the physical abuse to verbal abuse. The women in the film are used only for commercial purposes. The leading lady is used as a template material. Despite the huge screen presence, she is not given anything unique to perform. Except for Darshan, Rachna, and Achyuth, none has a significant screen presence. The runtime is so lengthy for a normal audience to sit and watch. If the ardent fans of the stars are impressed, they may sit for 3 hours. The action sequences are too fancy that the hero takes a superhero avatar. The songs and BGM are not impressive. The visuals are okay. The climax is not up to the expectation.
