Plot

The film unfastens with a 13 years old juvenile named Bharat, who is getting ready for his school. His mother gives him milk and then he drinks the milk and goes to his school where he is in the scout, and during the parade, he sees a girl. In the next scene, he encounters the same girl, she asks Bharat what is he doing outside in the heat, then they have a quick talk, and the scene shifts. In the next scene we are introduced to Pappu, who is practicing how to interact with girls while being recorded by Bharat. In the next scene, we see Bharat’s house, where his parents do not have a good relationship. After that, while a meeting is been conducted in the society compound, a new girl tenant has come to liv there, her name is Meera, she is around 30. Seeing Meera, the society goes crazy about her beauty. Bharat gradually develops a friendship with Meera, he gets to know about a dark truth related to her past and that she is currently hiding her identity. What must the truth be? Why is Meera hiding her actual identity? The rest of the movie revolves around it.

Star Performance

Shamita Shetty fits perfect in her character with her excellent acting and acute performance. On the other hand, one of the story's main lead Rudraksh also performs skilfully in the boy role and is suited for the film. The cast is chosen faultlessly, with everyone perfectly playing respective roles that you will leave wondering if the script was written for them. While the movie is set in modern-day Mumbai, its story will appeal its viewers globally. The crisp editing and screenplay result in a smooth-flowing story. You'll find yourself relating with different characters at different points, which speaks of the thorough writing and direction.

Analysis

It's a social drama on a young boy engrossed by a gorgeous contemporary woman who rents a house in his society and how slowly their relationship grows into something unblended. The movie fails to captivate due to its predictable screenplay, offering nothing new or engaging. You know what's going to happen right from the first 10-15 minutes. It's so predictable and tedious. Set in a time that takes you back to your childhood days in the city, the film radiates light on the prevalent biases and stereotypes within Indian society. It prompts a thought-kindling perusal of these societal issues that persist today.

What’s There?

  • The acting and direction of the movie are appreciable

What’s Not There?

  • The movie’s plot is somewhat predictable
  • The movie bores you in the halfway, because of its non-gripping storyline

Verdict

This film excites its viewers with its superior directing, acting, and cinematography. The well-crafted characters are relatable and draw the audience in. It is neither a very good movie nor a bad movie to watch.
