Harsh Mayar is a talented teenager who has created a name for himself in Film Industry, at such a young age. Harsh set his foot in Bollywood in the year 2011 through the unconventional film I Am Kalam. His acting in the flick was awe-inspiring, and he was given the National Award by the President, for the Best Child Actor. He has met the Great Scientist and Human Being Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam and preserved those moments. A.P.J has told Harsh to chase his dreams.
Harsh Mayar was passionate about acting since he was a little boy. Seeing his potential, his uncle admitted him in Shri Ram Centre For Acting in
New Delhi as his parents could not bear the expenses. Mayar has also been a part of several dramas. He tried his luck by giving around 180 auditions for various roles. Harsh got selected for the 2011 flick
Chillar Party, but he just couldn't get the character perfectly hence he dropped out of the movie. He then got a call from
Nila Madhab Panda, Director of I am Kalam. Harsh was called to attend the audition.
He was initially reluctant but then went for it. That one movie lifted him to great heights and flooded him with appreciation. He then started getting so many offers and instantly the status of his family was lifted up. Harsh then acted in the movie Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid that released in the year 2012. This movie was also directed by Nila Madhab Panda and received critical acclamation. And then came
Chaarfutiya Chhokare, in the year 2014.
The film was directed by
Sohail Khan and is a crime thriller about child-kidnapping. In Between the two movies, Harsh got a big opportunity to act in an English film. He acted in Desires Of The Heart directed by James Kicklighter of the USA and Rajesh Rathi of India. The movie released in the USA, in the year 2013 and 2015 in India. He is also sought-after for doing roles in short films.
He has completed the shoot of the short film, Untitled-The Words Left Unsaid by Director Sachin Aggarwal, in the year 2015. Harsh has also appeared in Television soaps. He has acted in two episodes, in the series Gumrah: End Of Innocence, telecasted in Channel V India, in the year 2014.
