Punjab & Haryana HC Quashes Plea Against ‘120 Bahadur’

Punjab and Haryana High Court recently quashed a plea against 120 Bahadur. The movie is directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and will release on 21 November.

According to the media reports, Sanyukt Ahir Regiment Morcha had filed a plea against the makers of the war drama 120 Bahadur, accusing them of not paying their dues to the Ahir soldiers who fought in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China War.

The complainants also suggested the court to issue an order, which would ensure that the title is changed to ‘120 Veer Ahir’. However, the court struck down the complaint, accusing them of being too sensitive over a trivial issue. 120 Bahadur is based on the ‘Battle of Rezang La’, where 124 Indian soldiers from the Charlie company of 13 Kumaon regiment overcame a brutal invasion from more than 3000 Chinese soldiers, refusing them access to the Chushul region in Ladakh.
