Star Performances
Last seen in Airlift in a serious makeover, Akshay Kumar is one actor who knows to maintain a balance between different genres of film. Akshay Kumar’s eccentricities, comic timing, and witty actions act as a great solace. Riteish Deshmukh is no doubt a talented artist and he has done a great job in comedy, which is his forte. But owing to his weak characterization, he also cannot save the film from rising above average. Abhishek is just ok in his role. All the three ladies look pretty, and one wonders whether that is enough to elevate the film. Boman Irani pulls off his character with ease and proves that why he is such an accomplished comedian.Â
Analysis
Housefull 3, directed by Farhad-Sajid, is the first outright comedy entertainer of  2016 and in that sense the hopes are high. The film banks heavily upon one-liners and witty comedy. The dialogues are eccentric and remind one of the earlier movies in the series.  Also, one is familiar with certain scenes which bring to mind WhatsApp messages.Â
