The biopic on C Sankaran Nair has got an official release date.

in the lead role of C Sankaran Nair, alongside Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in the prominent roles.
The courtroom drama is based on the book ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’. It is based on C Sankaran Nair, a former Advocate General and subsequently a member of the Viceroy’s Executive Council, who dragged the Punjab government to the court for orchestrating the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Though he lost the case against Michael O’Dwyer, the then governor of Punjab and the brains behind the massacre, his struggles didn’t go unnoticed.
The biopic of C Sankaran Nair is a must win for both Akshay Kumar and Dharma Productions. Dharma Productions was hoping to bounce back into action with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’, after a surprise hit with the action thriller ‘Kill’. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.
On the other hand, the biopic is make or break for Akshay Kumar. With the lone exception of his cameo appearance in ‘Stree 2’, 2024 has been yet another forgettable year for the actor, with all of his films flopping one by one.
