Plot
Guna is an ex-cop from Coimbatore. His daughter Sana needs to get operated on immediately due to some health issues. So, he flies to the UK. But he is imprisoned in the UK due to unwanted trouble. Sandra James is the prison authority. While in prison, Guna discovers that a terrorist gang plans to escape from the prison and disrupt the international conference in India. Will Guna ruin their plan and stop their disruption? Will Sandra help him? The rest of the film speaks about that.
Star Performance
Arun Vijay is excellent in the given role. His action and acting performances are awesome. Bharath Bopanna has a good appearance as an antagonist, but his potential is underutilized. Nimisha Sajayan, the finest performer from Mollywood, has got a simple role and this is not her cup of tea. The same goes with Iyal, the child artist.
Analysis
AL Vijay directed a patriotic movie filled with family sentiment. This is the first time he directed Arun Vijay. The story is a usual one. The specialty in the film is that the protagonist is a cop. So, we can believe his action scenes to an extent. The dialogues and patriotic sequences are not new. However, they suit Arun Vijay. Nimisha’s role could have been developed well. We feel that such a good performer is not given the right role. The BGM by GV Prakash is neat and creates Goosebumps in some places.
