Riteish Deshmukh is the son of a politician, late Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was chief minister of Maharashtra for some terms as a Congress, party member. Riteish was born in Mumbai on December 17, 1978, to Vaishali Deshmukh and Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Riteish has two brothers, Amit and Dheeraj Deshmukh. As his father and mother used to grace many Filmfare award ceremonies, it was quite natural for this actor to fall in love with cinema at a young age. Though he hails from a political family, Riteish made his name as a popular hero in Bollywood and went on to become acclaimed star by his dedication and hard work.

Riteish, who made his debut with newcomer Genelia D'souza in 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' in 2003 and married her, ultimately in 2012. The actor opened his innings as a successful artist through his next film ‘Masti’ in 2004, and he was cast with Genelia D'souza again. Of late, Riteish has launched his production house Mumbai Film Company in 2013 and went to produce Marathi Blockbuster such Bala Palak. In the same year, he took an interest in celebrity cricket league in Mumbai and has owned his team ‘Veer Marathi’, in which his wife Genelia and his brother Dhiraj Deshmukh are partners. Rituraj Singh is an Indian actor who mostly acts on TV shows. His hometown is Khatipura, Jaipur but he has settled in Mumbai, to where he shifted 24 years ago. He began his acting career when he joined Barry John's theatre group TAG (Theatre Action Group) where he worked for 11-12 years. He is closely acquainted with and worked alongside with the Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, who he met at the theatre. Rituraj Singh is currently acting in the TV show Diya Aur Baati Hum, in which he plays the role of a Kabaddi coach, Coach Mahendra Singh. The Jaipur actor claims that his passion for sports throughout his school and college days helped him play the role of a coach on the show a very easy task. The television shows he has worked in are Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Shapath, Warrior High, Aahat, Adaalat, Beintahaa, Kutumb, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, K.
