Plot
Surya, a teenager, murders Karikalan, an MLA. He is sent to a juvenile home. But, he faces murder attempts, initiated by Maya, Karikalan’s wife. Why did here murder Karikalan? Did he escape from the murder attempts? Was he able to get out of the juvenile home? The rest of the story discusses all these.
Star Performance
Surya’s physique fits well for the role. He did justice to the given role. Devadarshini is good in her role and delivers a solid performance. Sampath is equally excellent in his role. Varalaxmi has done what was asked. Vignesh and Abi are decent in the given roles.
Analysis
The story is decent, and the director tried a lot to establish Surya Sethupathi as an action hero, which worked out well. The action choreography is fine. But the logic gets a heavy blow in many places, especially in the place when Surya fights barehanded with the rugged men. The film’s biggest drawback is the predictability. Also, when it is supposed to be an emotional drama, it is soon transformed into an action sequence specially designed to establish Surya. The visuals are good, especially in the action sequences. Sam CS delivers a solid BGM supporting the screenplay and elevates many intense scenes.

Surya got a good debut vehicle to start his journey. His efforts are good, and the film is a one-time watch, despite its logical loopholes and predictability.
