Plot
Raja is an auto-rickshaw driver. He needs Rs 15 lakh money for his wife’s surgery. Anitha is in love with a boy from another community. This doesn’t go well with her father. Yet, she wishes to marry the boy she loves. Savitri is a sanitation worker with a trans-daughter, Karthi. Savitri faces humiliation from society and also from the loan shark from whom she borrowed a huge sum. Madhi faces a huge problem in her family and finds that her husband and parents-in-law are plotting against her. What’s the connection between all these four people? The rest of the story explains that.
Star Performance
Bharath’s performance is excellent. He lived in the role and emoted well. Thalaivasal Vijay’s expressions are flawless, especially after he committed a crime. Abhirami didn’t fit the role, yet she tried to get the role connected with her wonderful performance. Anjali Nair has done her job well.
Analysis
The story is based on a real-life incident. With an incident that happened, the writers tried to interconnect the rest of the plots. Bharath is a perfect choice for Raja. His makeup, expressions and dialogue delivery suit his character well. Kudos to the casting team. However, Abhirami doesn’t look to be the right choice for the role. Yet, her performance is good. If Rohini had been picked to do this role of Savitri, the character and the story would’ve been elevated. The stories are good, but the director should’ve tried to complete them one after the other or should’ve made it an anthology, instead of showcasing them parallel, which confuse the audience. The music is good, and the visuals are pleasing.
