He said that Rajini is a gem of a person and he had never questioned him even after many people commented it as a flop. Instead, Rajini told Ravikumar that he feels happy for making a film, as he wished. The movie is based on Pennycuick, the world-famous engineer, who built the everlasting Mullai Periyar dam that is the water source for the Madurai district.
