Vijay is one among the lead actors in the Tamil cine field. His movies get into some sort of trouble before release. Movies as Kaavalan, Thuppaakki, Thalaivaa, Kaththi, and Puli encountered hassles during the time of release. Now, the movie Mersal is encountering similar issues. There were issues regarding the title, and the issues surrounding entertainment tax. Now, the issues are over. The movie is bracing up for release on Diwali. Now, a new issue has arisen. The movie producers Thenandal Films released a report that the movie has been given a U/A certificate. But so far, the movie has not been censored.
In the movie, doves and snakes have been used. The animal welfare organizations should give clearance for this. But, they did not get the permission. Only after the permission is got, censor clearance could be received. But, the movie producers have hastened to release news that certificate had been given. The animal welfare organization has questioned the censor board regarding the issue. The censor board has not come out with a concrete decision. There are yet another four days for the release of the movie Mersal. Since censor clearance is not got, there is hassle to the movie release.
