Mollywood fans were in for a major disappointment when a recent gala event in the Gulf was canceled for reasons best known to the organizers.
AMMA, or Association of Malayalam Movie Artists, was to organize its annual event, ‘Mollywood Magic’, in Qatar. The event was scheduled to take place at Stadium 974 in Qatar on March 7. However, all of a sudden, the organizers announced that the event was canceled until further notice.
According to the organizers, the reason for this decision was due to technical issues, including procurement of visas for the guests, as well as the local conditions, including the weather. Nine One Events [who organized this event] maintained that those who purchased the tickets for this event will receive a full refund. However, they refused to comment on whether the program will be rescheduled or not.
Interestingly, many Mollywood artists, including Mohanlal, Dileep, Mammootty, etc. were scheduled to attend this event. Even artists like
