He was suffering from pneumonia. His death news was conveyed by Roger Johnson, the spokesman of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. Douglas has played a lot of impressive roles, among which the deerstalker in the 60s is very popular. Douglas played the Arthur Conan Doyle’s character in BBC series.
