Plot
Mina is a troubled lady, who gets trapped in a supernatural ordeal. While traveling via the eerie forest, her car breaks down, and she seeks refuge in a bunker. Madeleine, Ciara, and Daniel are also captives in the banker. They must adhere to strict rules to survive despite the mysterious visits. What happened to them? Who visited them? Were they able to get out of the bunker? The rest of the story deals with these. Â
Star Performance
Dakota Fanning delivered a wonderful performance. Olwen Fouéré is quite decent in her role. Georgina Campbell’s performance is neat, though she has minimum dialogue. Oliver Finnegan is also good in her role.
Analysis
The best of the film is the cast. The casting team should be appreciated for picking good performers and they all fit well in the roles. The visuals are quite okay. The haunting scenes in the Irish woods are finely captured. The pacing in the film is uneven, making the script lose its grip. The dialogues are lengthy at times and make the audience lose their patience. The director has tried her best, but she has to improve the storytelling style and engage the audience. However, this is not the worst attempt.
