Vivo will soon introduce its next generation foldable smartphones, Vivo X Flip 2 and Vivo X Fold 3, in China. However, the company did not reveal the exact launch date of the latest smartphones. Fortunately, a leak from Weibo (a Chinese social media platform) revealed a few specifications of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3.
According to the leak, Vivo X Fold 3’s camera is rumored to see a slight change from its predecessor. Vivo might add ZEISS branding in the X Fold 3’s camera island, and the flash may be moved to the right. The leak also suggests that the upcoming handset will be thinner than its predecessor and maybe the lightest foldable phone on the market. It will also be the first foldable phone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Vivo X Fold 3 may maintain the 50-megapixel rear camera, but there are also rumors that the latest smartphone may get a new 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
