Last January, Samsung officially announced its latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy S24 series. The Korean tech company is also expected to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones. Recently, a report claims that the tech giant is working on the latest Fan Edition smartphone, which will be added to the Galaxy S24 series.
A post on the X platform (posted by a certain OreXda) reveals some specifications of the rumored Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. According to the post, this smartphone may sport a 6.1-inch AMOLED display panel and offer both chipsets such as Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The post also reveals that this alleged smartphone will be backed by 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and may come in 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage variants.
The S24 FE is anticipated to pack a 4,500mAh battery, and it also expected to have many similarities with Samsung Galaxy S24. However, since the Fan Edition usually are the toned-down version of Samsung’s flagship smartphones, the company may cut corners at some parts.
Other specs have not yet been revealed, but the post claims that the company will keep the $200 price difference between Samsung’s Vanilla and FE models. If Samsung sticks to its timeline from last year, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone in October.
