CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for free as part of the limited trial this weekend. Gamers can play the game for free for a few hours on Microsoft and Sony’s current generation consoles, such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Unfortunately, the free play will not be available for PC gamers because of some technical reasons. Gamers can access the trial once they downloaded the entire game. The Phantom Liberty expansion is not part of this trial.
According to the Cyberpunk 2077 website, the free trial will start at 8pm IST on March 28 and end at 12:29pm IST on April 1. During the trial period, gamers can play the game for free for five hours. After five hours, they can purchase the game to continue playing. The ‘save’ progress will be carried forward when you purchase the full game after the trial ends.
There is no need to use subscriptions, such as Game Pass, to play the game during the trial period. More than one player can try the game per console if they use a different account.
