Mukesh Rishi

Mukesh Rishi is one of the best actors who has done negative roles in Hindi cinema. Mukesh is from Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, from a Gujjar family. He completed his graduation from Chandigarh and worked in Mumbai for some time, he left India and moved to Fiji. In Fiji, he met his future wife of Fijian-Indian descent, Keshni Rishi and gave birth to two children, a son, and a daughter. They moved to New Zealand after marriage where he worked in an office job for some time and at the same time he started his career as a model. He worked in commercial jobs for seven years and despite the great efforts towards modeling he was not happy and finally moved back to Mumbai to start his acting career and enrolled himself at Roshan Taneja’s acting school.

In 1988, he got his first break in Tollywood. Later he got the opportunities to work in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. Although he started his career by playing a villain character in Telugu films, he showed his versatility in many positive roles. Eventually, his talent was recognized, and he achieved great success in his career. He showed his talent in many blockbuster movies like Koi Mil Gaya, Jodie No. 1, Ghatak, Gupt, Kaalia, Sarfarosh, Kurukshetra, Rebel, etc. Narasimha Naidu, which was a Telugu movie and has got great success, after this movie he considered as one of the leading villains in Telugu movies. For his performance in Sarfarosh, he won the nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actor
