Apple’s FineWoven iPhone cases together with the iPhone 15 series were launched in September last year. Since then, many users have complained about the quality of these cases. Now, Amazon is attempting to notify users about the controversial FineWoven cases.
Amazon added a warning label stating ‘Frequently returned item: Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item.’ in FineWoven accessories to alert the buyers about its quality. A certain user named ‘ayfondo’ was the first to see Amazon’s label regarding these cases and then shared a screenshot on a micro-blogging site, Threads.
The label appears only on the listings of Apple’s iPhone 15 FineWoven cases, though there is no label in Amazon’s listing for FineWoven MagSafe Wallets.
There are mixed reviews on Amazon about these cases. Some stated they like the item, while others say these cases are Apple’s worst release since 2014. The prices for ‘used’ cases on Amazon were also reduced, and several polls on social media describe the FineWoven cases as ‘a piece of junk.’ A tech journalist also shared her experience with the iPhone 15 FineWoven case and talked about peeling edges and scratched-up fabrics like an old CD. She added that its color is browning like a rotten banana.
