1. Gangs of Wasseypur Movie Review

Image Plot The movie is set in Bihar, which is now a part of Jharkhand. It takes place in the pre-independence era. As the title suggests, Gangs of Wasseypur is a movie about gangsters. The film started with a four-minute take showing some Hindi soap and then pulled into a lane, where gangs were looking for a man, gunning down everyone in their path. Then the tension becomes too much to bear; the film is being forwarded for the next five hours.  After the opening which was set in the present, the story goes into flashback. The movie even revolves around the romantic life of couples.

2. The Lunchbox-The best way to a Man’s Heart! Movie Review

Image The “Dabbawalas” of Mumbai have been the subject of so many discourses in subjects as widely varied as social norms, logistics management, operations research and so many others. In fact, a very informative documentary film had been made of their system of foolproof and clockwork style of operations, highlighting the almost the zero failure that they achieve. It was, however, one of those rare failures that trigger the events of this film. Plot: “The Lunchbox” would not have happened if those famed dabbawalas didn’t make one of those rare mix-ups. Saajan Fernandes (Irrfan Khan in the film) who lost his wife several years ...

3. Manjhi: The Mountain Man Movie Review

Image Plot: Ketan Mehta does it again in Manjhi - The Mountain Man, which looks a real biopic. Ketan is a popular film director, who has always found it fascinating to explore real biopics- be it on interesting topics of Vallabhai Patel, Mangal Pandey or a painter Raja Ravi Varma. The screenplay and narration is so well balanced that, it could be become a hit with wide audiences. Everybody knows that this story is adapted version of Dashrath Manjhi, who was a poor labour and a mountaineer in Gaya, who had just hammer and chisel to climb the hills. The film revolves around primarily between two characters played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who ...

5. Badlapur Movie Review

Image The film is about, as the name suggests, revenge. While your sub-conscious is linking the word ‘revenge’ with unbelievable action sequences, let me stop you right there. It’s nothing like that. In fact, it’s sophisticatedly better than that. It’s a constant struggle between the reasons to survive holding hands with revenge and the invisible need of redemption through forgiveness. A film stitched together with the extract of anguishing pain and a needful amount of entertainment. Don’t miss it for the world. PLOT:  Varun Dhawan plays ‘Raghav’, a man who looses his wife and kids during a post-bank robbery s...
