Nissar Khan is an Indian film and television actor born on May 4, 1969. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama. He has been married to Tabassum Ahmed since January 14, 2005. He has performed in many TV shows and Hindi movies. He played a role in many TV serials like as ‘Dronacharya’ in ‘ Mahabharat’ and made his mark in ’Ram Milaayi Jodi’,'Haamari Beti Raaj Karegi’, ‘ Na Aana Is Des Laado’ and ‘Bombay Blue’ as ‘Constable Kaul’ in 1997.
But he is best known from his character as senior inspector in ‘Crime Petrol’ that aired on Sony TV. Crime patrol is a reality based series that deals with the crime which takes place in India. The main concept of this series was to make the people of India aware of the crime that are taking place in India nowadays, so that they could aware and protect themselves from the crime. He made his debut in more than 8 movies, but he is best known for D-Day (2013), Don (2006) and Lakshya (2004).
He started his career on the big screen in the year 1990 by 'Tum Mere Ho’. In Lakshya (2004), he played a role as 'Capt. Behraam Khan’ of Pakistan. In 2000 he performed in ‘Zindagi Zindabad’. In 2006, he played a role as 'Haatim Quershi’ in 'Don' and in 2012 as 'Diwakar’ in 'Rose Bed'. In 2013 he was seen in 'Rab da Vaasta’ as 'ACP Jatav'.
