Swara Bhaskar is a talented Indian actress who is born to a very elite family. Her mother was a professor of film studies in Jawaharlal Nehru University and her father was a Naval Officer. She was born in April, 1987. She studied in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya. She completed her graduation in English from Delhi University. Later, she did masters from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Sociology. In the early years of her career, she was associated with a theatre group called ‘Act One’ in Delhi. Her first film was ‘Madholal Keep Walking’ in 2009. She was the lead actress in the movie ‘Listen...Amaya’ (2013). She became popular after the release of the film ‘ Tanu Weds Manu’ in 2013 as Kangana Ranaut’s friend ‘Payal’. She received Zee Cine Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the films ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘ Raanjhanaa’. She hosted a TV series called ‘Samvidhaan’ in 2014. She will soon be seen in the movie ‘ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ playing the role of Salman Khan’s sister. She acted in the film ‘ Guzaarish’ (2010) as Radhika Talwa and ‘ Aurangzeb’ (2014) as Suman. She is a trained Indian classical dancer. Her teacher is Guru Leela Samson. She also won the Screen Awards for Best Supporting Actress for the film ‘Raanjhanaa’.

Swarangi Mukund Marathe is a Hindustani Classical Vocalist, Natya Sangeet singer, Light vocalist, Theatre artist, and TV and Film actor. Swarangi is known to be the granddaughter of the renowned musician Late Sangeet Bhushan Pt. Ram Marathe. She attended Saraswati High School in Thane. Swarangi started her acting career with “Sangeet Purnavatar” at the National Drama Festival in Kochin held in 1997. The director of this play was Shri Vijay Kenkare. The other actors included Atul Parchure, Aditi Deshpande, and Sanjay Navrekar. She even won the award for “Best Child Actress.” After she had won this title, she got a variety of offers from TV channels like Doordarshan, E TV, Prabhat, and Zee Marathi to work in several TV soaps. She has made her appearance in series likes 'Tharar', 'Vyakti Aani Valli', 'Bal Doot', 'Reshimgathi', 'Kimayagar', 'Chingi Chingam Babli Babalgam' and 'Aabhalmaya'. Swarangi gained immense popularity for her character in Aabhalmaya as Chingi alias Akshata. Originally, this character was scripted only for 50 episodes but due to strong public opinion, it was continued to 225. Shri. Vinay Apte and Mandar Devasthali were the directors of this serial. She was even awarded with the ‘Alpha Gaurav Puraskar’ in 2001 for her outstanding acting. Institutions such as Thane and Mumbai Municipal Corporation honored her. Swarangi has also acted also in Marathi and Hindi Movies. This play is still playing with more than 150 shows in its log. The story revolves around a Non-resident couple and their daughter Jenny. She won acclamation for her accented Marathi pronunciations. She was given the award for ‘Best Actress’ in 2008. “Hridaynath” was another Marathi feature film which she acted in 2012. She even anchored for a dance show called Dam Dama Dam. She has done various advertisements like Ruma Cure, Bedekar Masala, and Navneet. Swarangi is proficient in various forms of music like Khayal, Natya-Sangeet, Bhajans, Ghazals and Bhavgeet. She has given solo music concerts all over India and abroad. Swarangi even visited the USA during May and June in 2009 for several concerts. She is currently doing training under Vidushi Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande of the well-known Jaipur-Atroli Gharana. She has performed in various musical programs like “Naadbramha” and others around Maharashtra and India.
