In this 16^th season, a new segment, Super Sawaal, is introduced. If the contestant passes the first segment winning Rs 10,000, a question will be asked, and it has no options. If they give the correct answer, Dugnaastra, a power-up, will be activated. This power can be used only once between the 6^th and 10^th questions. This power will be activated if the contestant presses the buzzer before the options are provided. This power-up will double the prize money for that particular question.

This season, the KBC Play Along Contestants is extended for a whole week, unlike the previous seasons, which have a hot seat only on Fridays. The last week of the month will be allotted to KBC Play Along Contestants, and this is named India Challenger Week. Jaldi 5 round will get the two winners from the Fastest Finger First round. The first one to get all five answers correct will get the hot seat.

As this is the 25^th anniversary, the show began with a new segment with all the previous winners being welcomed, and they talked about their experiences in the show. This segment is titled Kahaani Jeet Ki. On 11^th March 2025, the final episode of this season was aired.
