Sameer Arora

Sameer Arora is a writer who has predominantly worked in Indian Film industry. The talented screenplay writer was born in Bangalore, where he completed his schooling. He used to love reading since his childhood. As a kid, he grew a keen interest in books and novels. He dreamed of writing stories when he was young. His creative thinking always grabbed him prizes in debate competitions.

Sameer Arora used to write stories for comics, newspapers, and local magazines. He used to participate in narrating competitions held at his school and won many prizes in those competitions. As he completed his schooling, he decided to do his graduation in English literature. While he was in college, he joined writer’s club. He used to write stories for short movies, and his narrations have won many awards in college functions.

While he was in college, he decided to pursue his career as a writer. He used to submit his stories in local magazines, which became a source of income for him. While he was in last year of his college, one of his friends suggested him to write stories for films because of his experience he might have a chance there. He has been a fan of the film industry, so he thought of giving it a try. After various rejections, his short story got accepted by a movie director.

Later in 1994, he was offered a job as a production assistant in the movie “Vaade Iraade,” directed by Kalpana Bhardwaj and Kewal Singh. After that Sameer Arora went for a career change due to some family issues but after a while, he decided to get back to writing again. In 2003, he wrote dialogues for the movie “Kaise Kahoon Ke…Pyaar Hai,” directed by Anil Kumar Sharma.
