Pinnamaneni Gopi Mohan, popularly known as Gopimohan is an Indian writer who has penned several movies in Tollywood. Gopimohan was born on 1 July 1974 in Kurumaddali which falls under Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. He developed his passion for cinema from his childhood itself. Starting out as an assistant director, he assisted N Shankar’s Yamajathakudu in 1999. In 2000, he worked in Vamsi under the guidance of B Gopal. He made his debut as a story writer with the romantic-comedy film “Ready. The audience loved the outing for its script. Eventually, Ready went on to win several awards. In 2011, its Hindi remake released in the theaters to a positive feedback. The producers of Hindi version credited Gopimohan for his script. Between 2008 and 2011, he wrote stories for King, Raam, Namo Venkatesa, and Uthama Puthiran( Tamil). Uthama Purithan is the Tamil version of Ready which released in 2010. In 2011, he came up with his next project Dookudu. This action thriller drama became one of the “blockbusters” at the Box-Office in the same year.
