Badava Gopi

Badava Gopi is a stand up comedian who gained popularity by his very popular show ‘Kadi TV’. As a seasoned artist and television comedian, he has made a name for himself in the Tamil entertainment world. His regular acts on Kaun Banega Crorepati and its Tamil version were acclaimed by viewers a lot, which made him a household name in Tamil TV world. Gopi made his debut with the film ‘Poi’ in which he got an opportunity to work with K. Balachander.

Coming from a very modest background, he struggled a lot to become an actor. As a perfect mimicry artist and a very strong acting goof, he owns an event management company called ‘Voice Mail’ and a TV production Company called ‘Elements Five’. He is actively involved in the social welfare activities specially aimed at the welfare of underprivileged children. The untimely demise of his very young daughter made him think about children with physical and economic inabilities.

He is also understood to be one creative engine for ideas as he was up with a completely new theme of a music genre reality TV show with a very amusing touch of laughter in it.
