Chris Gayle is a famous cricket player for the West Indies cricket team. He was born on 21 September in 1979. He is one of the greatest cricketers and known as one of the legends in the cricketing history. He started his cricketing in Kingston in Jamaica in a famous cricket club whose name was Lucas Cricket Club. He made his entrance into the international career at the age of 19. Then he immediately played his first ODI match and also his first Test match. He holds many records over his cricketing career. He made the record of the best opening partnership along with Daren Ganga for the total of 214 runs in July 2001. However, he made his style and the year that brought him name and fame were the year 2002. He made a record of three centuries in ODI matches against the Indian team. He was awarded as the third West Indies player to score above the total of 1000 runs in a single year after Vivan Richards first being Brian Lara. Even in T20 cricket matches, he made his mark.
His record is of remarkable skills. In T20I he played 45 matches holds a record of scoring 1406 runs, 1 100, 13 50s with an average record of 35.15 runs. In IPL, he played 82 matches with a record of scoring 3199 runs with five 100s, the eighteen 50s, with an average record of 48.38 runs. In CLT20, he played six matches holds a record of scoring 257 runs with two 50s with an average record of about 42.83 runs. He had won many awards in his cricketing career. Though he holds many records and many fans agree that he is a calm player, he had many controversial disputes and issues in the last ten years. He was involved in an argument between other team players and the Cricket Board. He was also charged with bad conduct in a match against New Zealand in the year 2006 but later was found to be not guilty. He also had vocal exchanges against Michael Clarke Australian player in the same year and was fined for the match. He, later on, went on to publicly scold the Board about their fine and punishment methods. Recently in the year 2016, there are many disputes and issues that he is humiliating women in an interview during a League season.
