Chimmu Jayakumar was born in Punalur, Kerala, India, and is a famous Tamil Singer. Chimmu Jayakumar has completed her Schooling in Punalur and graduated from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam. Her love and talent in the field of music are so vast that she started to learn more about it from her college days. Chimmu has studied BA in Carnatic Music and MA in Music from Sree Shankaracharya Government University of Sanskrit Kalady. She is a Music Teacher at The Oxford School TVM by profession. Chimmu participated in the famous Tamil reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 3, where she received a lot of appreciation and love from the judges and the audience. This show was a turning point in her life as she got the chance to rise and shine in the field of singing and music. Chimmu has given the voice for the song Veera Raja Veera.
