Swagata S Krishnan is an Indian singer, music composer, and songwriter. She was born on 15th February 1993 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Her first television appearance was in Vaanampaadi on Kalaignar TV during her third year in college. She was one of the top six performers on the show. She has also appeared on the shows Hariyudan Naan and Super Singer. During her 11th grade, she won a gold medal in a prestigious Carnatic music event hosted by Sadguru Sangeetha Samaj, Madurai's equivalent of the Music Academy. Her name had shortlisted to the Music Academy's national shortlist of 14 singers.
She later relocated to Chennai and worked as a Kollywood playback singer, singing in films such as

Their wedding took place in the presence of their close family and friends in the Himalayan foothills and a setting near the Ganges in Rishikesh.
