Shalu Shami is an Indian film actress, popular amongst the regional audience for her work in movies like Dasavathaaram (2008), Kanchivaram (2009), Malayan (2009), Paalai (2011), Mayilu (2012), etc. Mostly known for her major involvement in Tamil TV shows, short films, documentaries, dramas, theatres, and Tollywood movies, Shalu has been a prominent part of the South Indian film industry for more than seven years now. Born on 14th June 1992 in Bikaner, Rajasthan as Sheerin Sharmilee, her father Rajaram Ramalingam is a computer consultant and his mother is a homemaker. She started studying at Cypress Creek High School, Orlando, Florida when her family moves to the United States because of her father’s job.
But soon enough, she left school midway to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. The latest film project which featured her as an actress was the Tamil film Varuthapadarha Valibar Sangam, where she played the role of Kodi’s lover.
