Amala Paul is the super talented star of South Indian film industry. She is the promising actress that had been critically acclaimed of her work. The south Indian beauty had many ups and downs in her career, but a star shines bright after midnight. She started off with a low budget film ‘Neelathamara’ in 2009 in which she played just a minimal role.

Later she signed a movie ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ in which her role became controversial and was criticized but this criticism was silenced by her next debut film ‘Mynaa’ a romantic film that made her realize as a promising actress in industry. The gorgeous actress made her way in the right direction and got acclamation.

Afterwards there was no stopping and one after another she gave away hits and won the award for best debut actress and got nominated in most of her films. She is an Indian actress in the film industry, mostly working in the south industry. She was born on 26th October 1991 in Ernakulam, Kerala. After completing her schooling from Nirmala Higher Secondary School Aluva, she joined St. Teresa's College in Kochi, to pursue a B.A. degree in English. After that, she was offered a supporting role in the remake of Neelathamara (2009) by Malayalam director Lal Jose.

Later she worked in films like Vikadakavi, Veerasekaran (2010) this movie was her debut movie in Tamil industry. Later she worked in a romantic drama film Mynaa (2010), directed by Prabhu Solomon. Through this movie, Mynaa, she got recognized in the industry. Amala secured the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress, also gaining nominations in the Best Actress category at the Filmfare Awards and the Vijay Awards. She is still working in the industry.
