M K Muthu is an indian singer, actor, and politician. He worked in tamil film industry. He was born in the year 1948. He is the son m. Karunanidhi, the former chief minister of tamil nadu. His mother’s name is padmavathi. He has three stepbrothers. Their names are m. K. Stalin, m.k. thamilrasu and m. K. Azhagiri.
Stalin and azhagiri are also involved in politics, whereas thamilrasu is a campaigner. Karunanidhi wanted his elder son muthu to be his political heir. But later muthu was launched into movies. He had his debut as an actor with the film “pillaiyo pillai” (1972).
He later worked in the films “pookkari” (1973), “samayalkkaran” (1974), “anya vilakku” (1975), and a few more. He couldn’t succeed as an actor. So, he joined politics. Muthu had a clash with his father and joined the rival party aiadmk. Later they patched up again the year 2009.
