He portrayed the role of one of the leads in Chennai 2 Singapore, and he said that he fell in love with the film industry when he was very young. He said that he started acting when he was seven years old. He was a part of some children's shows, which aired on a Malayalam channel.

When he turned 14, he worked in his first professional play, the Tamil version of the Ramayana. When Gokul was 16 years of age he worked with a city theatre group named as Evam. It began with a workshop, and he worked with them for two years.

But his stint at Michael Muthu's The Boardwalkers helped him focus on a career in acting. Working with them opened up the world of acting for him, and he eventually fell in love with the craft. The actor then went to Singapore to pursue an acting course, after which he went auditioning for films.

Gokul said he started giving auditions for as many movies possible and he got rejected like many times. Gokul told that being rejected is a part of an actor's life. One doesn't learn if he doesn't get rejected. He got so much feedback on what was missing in him when he didn't make it to a single project.

One person said they didn't select him because his eyes were too kind. He never got frustrated about going to shoots or rehearsals. In fact, giving auditions makes people fearless.' He told that he got his debut film because of the music director Ghibran, who was his senior in college and his family friend.

He asked him to meet the director. He auditioned for the movie and also was a part of the workshop with the director before he got cast for the role. He played the role of Harish in the movie who is an assistant director and who aspires to make a debut film.

The film is entertaining and will have romance and comedy. Gokul Anand always dreamt of being a part of the film industry and his dream came true because of his hard work and sincerity to achieve his goals. He is an actor who is very dedicated to his work.
