Gipsy Rajkumar

Gipsy Rajkumar is an Indian director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. He made his directorial debut with the movie Ayyanaar Veethi Click to look into! >> Read More... in 2017. It featured actors such as K. Bhagyaraj, Ponvannan, and Yuvan. He did his schooling at Government Higher Secondary School and did his graduation at Rajapalayam Rajus College, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. Rajkumar currently resides in Chennai, India.

He was a longtime associate of Indian film editor and director B. Lenin. Rajkumar has been working in the film industry for the last 25 years. Rajkumar got an opportunity to direct the film Ayyanar Veethi when the original writer of the film could not do it for some reason. He wrote the dialogue and screenplay for the movie. The film released on 7th April 2017. 

Before embarking on films, Rajkumar managed a drama group called Vithi Nadaga Kulu. He, along with his drama group, has held several shows in villages and rural areas. Rajkumar is an ardent follower of actor and former chief minister M. G. Ramachandran. He strives to live his life by the teachings of MGR.
