Vikraman R was born on 24 August 1988 in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. After five years, the family shifted to Theni, where he studied in a Government School in Tamil Medium. He likes to read novels and the History of Indian Leaders. His favourite sports are football and cricket. He is a Politician, Youtuber, self-proclaimed journalist and an actor in the Tamil Industry. His television career began in 2016 when he became the host of a talk show Nadanthathu Enna? Kutramum Pinnaniyam. Later he played the lead role in a TV drama EMI-Thavanai Murai Vazkai. He then starred in another drama series called Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, the serial aired on Star Vijay. Vikraman is a former editor and correspondent for a popular news channel in Chennai.
He started his career as a journalist and later, in 2020, joined the political Party Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi as a spokesperson for two years. He completed his Net Zero fellowship at the School of Policy and Governance, Bangalore. He appeared in the reality TV show BigBoss Tamil Season 6 in October 2022. He likes to help the needy and asks for people to help each other so that no poor will be left alone.
