Velu Prabhakaran is an Indian Film Actor, Cinematographer, and Filmmaker. He worked in the Tamil Film Industry. His films have a unique theme. They are mostly controversial. At the age of 60, he married Shirley Das, an actress in his film “Kadhal Kathai” (2009). They married on the 3rd of June in 2017.
Prabhakaran started his career in the Tamil Film Industry as a Cinematographer. He worked in a few movies as a Cinematographer. He later turned into a Filmmaker with the horror film “Nalaya Manithan” (1989). Prabhakaran worked as a Writer, Director, and Cinematographer in this Horror Drama.
He later worked in the films “Pick Pocket” (1989), “Uruvam” (1991), “rajali’ (1996), “Kadhal Kathai” (2009), and many more. Prabhakaran turned as an actor with the film “Sariyana Jodi” (1989). Prabhakaran won the Best Dialogue Writer by Tamil Nadu State Film Award for the film “Kadavul” (1997).
