Production Supervisor

A production supervisor is a person with excellent communication skills and thorough knowledge of all the jobs that are taking place- as the accounts, set decoration, make-up, camera, light, sound, etc. They groom and explain all the work that is happening in the production stage. For the new entrants, the supervisors brief about the expectations and demands of the job and also guide them through. Also, they monitor the work by the others in the team and create reports, that is, job appraisals for individual workers after scrutinizing their work carefully.

They also help in recruiting and planning strategies for the departments. They work out on the optimization of budget and schedule. The schedule is taken care of by them as they have the reports of the work that takes place daily by each worker. They maintain the quality of the tasks and the environment healthy for the same. Coordinates with each team of the film, so as to build a relationship which enhances the continuity and thereby increases the productivity.
