Sangeetha Sivan first came to fame by playing the role of a postwoman in the song Sundariye Va from the album Chembakame sung by Franco and released in 2005. She initially started as a singer, doing dubs for multiple projects and later transitioned smoothly into acting in TV serials and appearing in many shows.
Sangeetha did her schooling in St. Ann’s Higher Secondary School. Then she graduated with a degree in music from Maharaja’s College, MG University. She stays in Ernakulum with her husband and son, Madhav.
Sangeetha describes herself as a very shy teen, and this break in acting is quite shocking for her as well as her former teachers. She made her debut with the TV show Kalipattangal and then Anandam. Her most recent works include playing the character of Shari in Neelakuyil, telecasted on Asianet TV and the character of Anila in Sreepadam. Along with TV serials, Sangeeta Sivan has done more than 200 dubbing works.
